I have performed more than 10,000 colonoscopies with 95% caecal intubation rate and more than 6000 ERCP’s. I have performed more than 650 endoscopic obesity balloons with average weight loss of more than 2 stones in 12 months. My obesity work is through the national obesity surgery centre
I have received training in robotic colonoscopy at the Endotics laboratory in Pisa, Italy. This new technology is a safe, painless colonoscopy that doesn’t require sedation or decontamination. This procedure will be available at QASMC from July 2018

- Diagnostic and surgical oesophageal-gastro-duodenoscopy with: Chromoscopy research, Dilation and positioning of oesophageal and gastro-duodenal endoprosthesis – Treatment of oesophageal-gastric varices (sclerosis, ligation, occlusion with cyanoacrylate) – Polypectomy – Endoscopic resections of malignancies – Haemostasis of bleeding lesions (with injection therapy, thermal and mechanic with clips and ligatures) – Removal of foreign bodies – Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) – Positioning of feeding or decompressing probe – Endoscopic treatment of Zenker’s diverticulitis – Treatment of Barrett’s Oesophagus (mucousectomy and radiofrequency);
